WPT @ the Mirage
April 8th, 2005 by brother9The World Poker Tour starts ups are happening. The Mirage Poker Showdown happens this May, spanning the 9th through the 26th.
Downside? You must be an MGM/Mirage Player’s Club Member (and yes, I am, have been for 11 years now). Not a biggie though since they want you to sign up so they can track your play. However you must also be invited.
They are offering unlimited rebuys in the first hour, which will get very steep if you suck at poker since that’s $500 per rebuy. And why are you rebuying if you tanked $500 in the first hour????
Initial fee on the 9th (starts at noon!) is $1000; get down to Vegas now and let them know you’re serious. Maybe they’ll invite you. And your money.
