If you are slightly more experienced with the casino, but definitely not to the level of comfort where you can read your opponents, I’ll expand the play table I introduced.
Using the same conventions as in the other post:
| When you have these hands: | Bet this way: |
| AA KK 99 88 AJs ATs | Check (Limp) and raise |
| 66 55 A9s A8s A7s KQ | Limp and call 1 |
| AKs AQs AK | Limp and raise (raise & call if you are in the blinds) |
| 77 QJs KJs AQ AJ | Raise and call 1 |
| QQ JJ TT KQs KTs JTs | Raise and call 2 |
This method will let you play more hands at the table, but it’s a sin to play every poker hand. Just because you’re sitting at the table doesn’t mean you need to play the cards dealt you.
