Visiting A Casino? Or Playing Online?

Posted on January 19th, 2009 by Meg in Casino Gambling, Gambling, Online Gambling

Virtual casinos are online versions of traditional casinos. Although you might not get the green-velvet covered tables, or the complementary drinks, an online casino offers many of the same games. If you’re not interested in a drive (or flight!) to the nearest casino, why not play some blackjack or poker at home?

Some online casinos are just for fun and relaxation… or maybe for practice, before you join a high-stakes game! Other web casinos cost real money to play and allow you to win real money. I’ve heard that online games offer the same odds and payback percentages as physical casinos, but some stake you $20 or $50 as a perk for joining. (or even $200, if you’re really lucky!) A lot of reputable online casinos will publish payout percentage audits on their websites, so you can have a look. Some people likeĀ  to see how long it’s been since a big winner, and feel like that means the table is due for a big winner! Are they right? Who knows?
