The perfect roulette system?

Posted on July 17th, 2009 by Stephen Lunn in Casino Gambling, Gambling, Online Gambling

The perfect roulette system – does it exist? The short answer is no, of course not. Anyone who has looked in desperation online though for that quick fix, that way that someone somewhere surely has figured out to beat the system, the man, an age old game that surely has its flaws, will have been led to think otherwise. There are countless sites online, some that ask for your email address (so they can sell it on no doubt) or even money, that reveal to you the flawless, unbeatable, surefire way to become rich from online casinos with minimum effort. Some of these sites however, ask for nothing in return, and this suggests something far more sinister than just some scam artist lying to you.

They tell you something that anyone with any basic math skill will have already figured out for themselves. If you pick red or black, bet one unit on it and win, you go again with the other colour, if you lose however, you keep doubling your bet until you win, and will eventually win one unit. Easy. They tell you too, though, that you had better not try this in a real casino, or you’ll be found out using a system which is “frowned upon” (to quote Alan from The Hangover) almost as much as card-counting.

They tell you this for one reason, I feel. These sites, giving you such important information for free, are set up and run by the online casinos. Anyone who has tried out this system online will know that it doesn’t work, only for a while, before it takes your whole balance. This is due to the fact that if you lose, you can’t just cut your losses and run, you have to keep going until you win for the system to be consistent. Every online casino has safeguards set up that catch on to the fact that your are using this system, easy to see in process, and act accordingly.

That was the long answer, and it is clear, then, that roulette really is the perfect game, intricately worked out, and there is no way to consistently win and never lose. It is only about taking them once, taking them big.
