Phil Galfond won the most money in online poker in March this year. He beat Gus Hansen, who up until now had been dominating the world of online poker. Hansen won the most money in January and February, but in March Galfond won $1.75 million, which was $50,000 more than Hansen’s winnings.

He primarily plays $200/$400 stakes and above in No-limit Texas Hold’em and Pot-Limit O on full Tilt.

He currently lives in New York city and set up BlueFirePoker, a site which teaches people how to play poker online. Galfond is definitely one to look out for and has a promising future in online poker. He was only 23 when he beat Phil Helmuth, Johnny Chan, Daniel Negreanu, John Juanda and David Benyamine, at the last table of his WSOP bracelet win. Between these pros, they had 28 WSOP bracelets.
